Our restaurant was established in 1920's in South Boston, Massachusetts.
In 1947 the Italian American Restaurant became a corporation, and in 1970
current owners, Paul Alessi and Walter Gropp, took over the restaurant.
After serving our friends
for several decades, the restaurant still resides in South Boston and is
doing well. The only difference is that it is situated on the other side
of the street from the original place.
